In the morning Her Excellency Ms Penelope Wensley AO greeted members of the New Horizons Social Club who visited Government House for a guided tour and morning tea.
In the evening, Her Excellency attended and addressed guests at the Discovering Landcare Community Dinner, part of a two day Forum included in Australia's National Science Week. The dinner was hosted by the Queensland Murray-Darling Committee and held at the Goondiwindi Cultural Centre. |

Later, Her Excellency attended the Vietnam Veterans' Day Memorial Service, ANZAC Square, Adelaide Street, Brisbane.
Her Excellency laid wreaths at both Services.
In the evening, Her Excellency attended and delivered an address at a dinner hosted by Southern Cross University, at Oskars Restaurant, Burleigh Heads for delegates and partners attending the Association for Commonwealth Universities Benchmarking Forum. |
