The Office of the Governor is committed to protecting user privacy. We understand and appreciate that visitors and users of this website are concerned about their privacy, and the confidentiality and security of any information that may be provided to us, either electronically or in other forms.

The Queensland Government has established a privacy regime for the Queensland public sector based on 11 Information Privacy Principles. These principles, which government agencies are required to adhere to, can be viewed at the Department of Innovation and Information Economy website.

Any user wishing to obtain access to personal records held by the Office of the Governor should e-mail Government House. Right of access is limited to existing rights under the Freedom of Information Act 1992, and will be processed in accordance with the requirements of the Office of the Governor Information Privacy Plan.
