Mrs Kaye de Jersey

Mrs Kaye de Jersey is a devoted Queenslander.  She and the Governor have travelled extensively throughout the State, especially over the last 16 years.

Mrs de Jersey is a librarian by profession, a graduate in Arts from The University of Queensland (BA) and an Associate of the Library Association of Australia (ALAA).  Mrs de Jersey utilised her librarian qualifications in various branch libraries within The University of Queensland in the 1970s, including as librarian in charge of the then Architecture Library.

Kaye and Paul de Jersey married in 1971.

They have three children, Carolyn, Alison and David, and three grandchildren, Alexander, Sophie and Lily.

Mrs de Jersey's abiding interests include her family, reading, literature, art, ballet and the theatre, and travel.
