Governor's Program

The Governor’s Official Program is comprised of a wide range of constitutional and legal duties and ceremonial and community engagements. Each year, the Governor hosts thousands of visitors to Government House to take part in investiture and award ceremonies, Open Days, receptions and meetings, and travels widely throughout Queensland to support the activities of Patron groups. On Monday, in the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea in support of Spinal Life Australia where the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, in Hamilton, Brisbane, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended a reception in celebration of the birthday of His Imperial Majesty the Emperor of Japan where His Excellency addressed guests.

Following, at Customs House, Brisbane, the Governor attended The University of Queensland’s End of Year Senate Dinner.
