Public Tours of Government House resume

Government House public tours resume this Wednesday, 8 February, and what better way to beat the heat than wander the Heritage-listed hallways and hidden rooms of the Fernberg Estate.

Her Excellency, the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, has sought to open up Government House as often as possible, as a place for all Queenslanders to visit and enjoy. 

The house itself serves as a gallery of sorts for many treasured artworks, including several on loan from the Royal Queensland Art Society, of which Her Excellency is Patron.

While here, why not seek out and admire works by Queensland artists Dr Kay Kane, Peter Hubbard, Beverley Tainton and Robyn Bauer.
