Governor's Program

The Governor’s Official Program is comprised of a wide range of constitutional and legal duties and ceremonial and community engagements. Each year, the Governor hosts thousands of visitors to Government House to take part in investiture and award ceremonies, Open Days, receptions and meetings, and travels widely throughout Queensland to support the activities of Patron groups. On Wednesday, in the morning, at Brisbane City Hall, Brisbane, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended a preview of the Museum of Brisbane's 'New Woman: A Century of Women in Brisbane Art' exhibition. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted a reception for the 2019 YMCA Queensland Youth Parliament, and the Governor addressed guests.
