Governor's Program

The Governor’s Official Program is comprised of a wide range of constitutional and legal duties and ceremonial and community engagements. Each year, the Governor hosts thousands of visitors to Government House to take part in investiture and award ceremonies, Open Days, receptions and meetings, and travels widely throughout Queensland to support the activities of Patron groups. On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC hosted Investiture Ceremonies for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours List, 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours List, the 2020 Australia Day Honours List and the 2021 Australia Day Honours List: Brigadier Timothy Charles O'Brien; Mr Anthony Martin O'Dea PSM; Dr Sally Anne Pitkin AO; Mr Toby Price OAM; Mr Howard Charles Pickering OAM; Mrs Lorraine Mary Pickering OAM; Mr Mark Opitz AM; Mr John Winter Pickup OAM; Mrs Ronda Quinn OAM; Mr John Cecil Raine OAM; Mr Osman Ali Rane OAM; Dr Michael John Redmond AM RFD; Dr Russell Evan Reichelt AO; Professor Kerry Anne Reid-Searl AM; and Dr Barbara Doris Reynolds-Hutchinson OAM.
