On Friday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for Official Travel to Rockhampton Regional Council.

In the afternoon, at The Stadium, Rockhampton Showgrounds, Wandal, Her Excellency attended the NAB Ladies Lunch in support of the Beef Australia 2024 Exposition.

Following, at the Celebrity Chef Restaurant, Rockhampton Showgrounds, Wandal, Professor Nimmo attended the Celebrity Chef Lunch in support of the Beef Australia 2024 Exposition.

Following, at the Dreamtime Cultural Centre, Parkhurst, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on operations by Multicultural Australia, toured the facility and met with construction trainees.

Following, at the Fitzroy Community Hospice, The Range, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the facility and met with staff.

In the evening, at Riverside Restaurant, Rockhampton City, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received Mayor, Rockhampton Regional Council, Councillor Tony Williams and Deputy Mayor, Rockhampton Regional Council, Councillor Drew Wickerson for a working dinner.
