Governor's Program

The Governor’s Official Program is comprised of a wide range of constitutional and legal duties and ceremonial and community engagements. Each year, the Governor hosts thousands of visitors to Government House to take part in investiture and award ceremonies, Open Days, receptions and meetings, and travels widely throughout Queensland to support the activities of Patron groups. On Monday, in the morning, at Saint Andrew’s Anglican Church, Lutwyche, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Commemorative Service for the 75th Anniversary of the Australian Hospital Ship Centaur, and laid a wreath. 

In the evening, in West End, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended a reception in honour of Mr Paul Dyer, Artistic Director, Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, and guest soloist Xavier de Maistre.
