On Saturday, in the morning, at The Australian-American Memorial, Newstead, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the 82nd Anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea commemorative service and laid the first wreath, and the Governor addressed guests. 

In the evening, at Sea World Resort, Main Beach, Her Excellency attended the 2024 Queensland Foster and Kinship Care Conference Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
