Governor grants Assent to Electrical Safety Bill

The Governor received the Clerk of the Queensland Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, who presented the following Bill, to which Her Excellency granted Royal Assent:

Electrical Safety and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2026

A bill for an Act to amend the Electrical Safety Act 2002, the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013, the James Cook University Act 1997, the Work Health and Safety and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2024 and the legislation mentioned in schedule 1 for particular purposes
