The Governor received the Clerk of the Queensland Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, who presented the following three Bills, to which Her Excellency granted Royal Assent:
Education and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2026
A bill for an Act to amend the Education (Accreditation of Non-State Schools) Act 2017, the Education (Capital Assistance) Act 1993, the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006, the Education (General Provisions) Regulation 2017, the Education (Queensland College of Teachers) Act 2005, the Education (Queensland College of Teachers) Regulation 2016, the Education (Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority) Act 2014, the Education (Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority) Regulation 2025, the Libraries Act 1988, the Public Sector Regulation 2023, the Queensland Art Gallery Act 1987, the Queensland Museum Act 1970, the Queensland Performing Arts Trust Act 1977, the Queensland Theatre Company Act 1970, the Working with Children Check Act 2000 and the legislation mentioned in schedule 1 for particular purposes.

A bill for an Act to amend the Environmental Protection Act 1994, the Mineral and Energy Resources (Common Provisions) Act 2014, the Regional Planning Interests Act 2014, the Regional Planning Interests Regulation 2014, the South Bank Corporation Act 1989 and the legislation mentioned in schedule 1 for particular purposes.
Revenue (Cost of Living Relief Locked-in Law) and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2026
A bill for an Act to amend the Duties Act 2001, the First Home Owner Grant and Other Home Owner Grants Act 2000, the Payroll Tax Act 1971, the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Act 1994 and the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Regulation 2018 for particular purposes.
