Join the Governor’s Community Walk at Daisy Hill
Queenslanders are invited to join Her Excellency the Governor for a free, community-focused bushland walk at Daisy Hill Conservation Park—an opportunity to step outdoors, connect with others, and prioritise wellbeing.
The Queensland Governor’s Community Walk is a wellbeing initiative designed to bring together community members and stakeholders to promote active living, connection with nature, and improved health through accessible physical activity.
Delivered in partnership with Health and Wellbeing Queensland, the walk supports statewide efforts to encourage preventative health, strengthen social connection, and inspire more daily movement among Queenslanders.
Set within the natural surrounds of Daisy Hill Conservation Park, the walk also highlights the broader benefits of spending time in nature. Beyond physical activity, walking in bushland environments has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, enhance mental clarity, and provide a calming setting for meaningful connection.
