King's Birthday 2025 Honours List Announcement
Her Excellency congratulates the 114 Queenslanders recognised in the King’s Birthday 2025 Honours List, announced by the Governor-General in recognition of the selfless service, integrity, achievement, creativity, and care that flourish across our country.
Of the 14 individuals appointed nationally as a Companion of the Order of Australia, two are Queenslanders, being eminent marine scientist Professor Ian Hoegh-Guldberg AC and highly decorated costume and production designer Mrs Catherine Martin AC – the most awarded Australian in Oscar history.
