On Monday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received Australian Electoral Officer Queensland and State Manager, Australian Electoral Commission, Ms Stephanie Attard, Director, Australian Electoral Commission, Mr Ian Traill and Business Project Officer, Australian Electoral Commission, Ms Denise Telfer to return the Writ for the 2025 Senate Election.

In the evening, at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency attended the 2025 Queensland Reconciliation Awards.
