On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Queensland, and the Honourable Chief Justice Helen Bowskill assumed duty as Acting Governor of Queensland.
