On Monday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM departed Government House for Official Travel to Sunshine Coast Council.

Following, at Sunshine Coast Council City Hall, Maroochydore, Her Excellency attended and officially opened the Sunshine Coast Open House event, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Nambour General Hospital, Her Excellency toured the facility and met with staff.

Following, at Mapleton, Her Excellency awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia to Mr John Cyril Reynolds OAM, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, Her Excellency returned to Government House from Official Travel to the Sunshine Coast Council.  

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a reception in support of Health and Wellbeing Queensland and the International Network of Health Promotion Foundations, and the Governor addressed guests.
