On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received HMAS Moreton Outgoing Commanding Officer, Commander Rosemarie Apikotoa RAN and Incoming Commanding Officer, Commander Christopher Unwin RAN.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a Luncheon in support of the Office of the Governor Speechwriters, and the Governor addressed guests. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a reception for the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital Foundation, and the Governor addressed guests.
