On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received the Ambassador of Finland in Australia, His Excellency Mr Arto Haapea.

Following, at ABC Studios, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the launch of the Jenny Woodward OAM ABC/Queensland Country Women’s Association 2027 Weather Calendar, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted students from Rainworth State School visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a reception in support of the 30th Anniversary of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (Queensland), and the Governor addressed guests.
