On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted a morning tea in support of International Volunteer Day 2025, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at The Gabba, Woolloongabba, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended Cricket Australia’s Day 1 of the Men’s Ashes Day-Night Test Australia v England.
