On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted the Outback Queensland Cattle Drive media opportunity, and the Governor addressed guests. 

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Dinner in support of the Outback Queensland Cattle Drive, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Councillor Rob Chandler; Councillor Andrew Martin; Councillor Tony Rayner; Mr Anthony 'Bim' Struss; Mr Andrew Rodgers; Mr David Muir AM; Ms Denise 'DD' Brown; Mr Anthony Lee; Mr Scott Allen; and Ms Freya Petersen.
