On Friday, in the afternoon, at Verso Projects, Festival Village, South Brisbane, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Brisbane Festival’s 2026 VIP opening night, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Brisbane Festival’s opening night performance of ‘Strong is the New Pretty’.
