On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted a morning tea in support of the 2026 Queensland Country Life Showgirl Awards finalists, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the Australia War Widows Queensland Brisbane West Social Group visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency received Board Member, Queensland Ag Shows, Mrs Margie Webb.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the gardens.

In the evening, at Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the EKKA 150th Anniversary Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
