On Friday, in the morning, at Sofitel Brisbane Central, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM officially opened the Communities Session at the MS Australia Progress in MS Research Conference, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Villa Maria, Fortitude Valley, Her Excellency attended Mass celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Chapel at Villa Maria.

In the evening, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended Queensland Ballet’s opening night performance of ‘The Nutcracker’.
