On Thursday, in the morning. The National Trust of Australia (Queensland) visited Government House for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided over a meeting of the Executive Council. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a garden Reception in support of International Women's Day, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Palace Barracks, Brisbane City, Professor Nimmo attended the opening night Gala of Alliance Française French Film Festival 2026 and addressed guests.
