On Thursday, in the morning, at St George State school, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD visited the school, and the Governor addressed students and staff and read a book to students.
Following at St George Hospital, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo visited the facility and met with staff.

In the afternoon, at Balonne Shire Council Chambers, St George, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a working lunch with council representatives and received a briefing.
Following, at the Supreme Court of Queensland, Brisbane City, via teleconference, the Deputy Governor of Queensland, the Honourable Chief Justice Helen Bowskill, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
