On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted a morning tea in support of the finalists of the 2025 Queensland Country Life Showgirl Awards, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the Mount Gravatt Pacific Probus Club, and later, members of the St Lucia History Group, visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a Reception in support of Youngcare’s 20th Anniversary, and the Governor addressed guests.
