On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted The Royal Humane Society of Australasia's Queensland 2026 Bravery Awards, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a reception for the General Sir John Monash Foundation to celebrate Queensland’s 2026 John Monash Scholars, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Thomas Dixon Centre, West End, Her Excellency attended the Academy of Queensland Ballet’s Gala.
