On Saturday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD welcomed members of the public for an Open Day in celebration of Queensland Day, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at United Service Club, Spring Hill, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Royal Historical Society of Queensland’s Queensland Day Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
