On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, members of the Sunshine Coast Ex-Service and Serving Women’s Association visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, received Communications Manager, The Salvation Army Australia, Mr Rendle Williams, Associate Chaplain, Brisbane Boys College, Mr Thomas McPherson and students in support of the Red Shield Appeal.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted dinner support of Judicial Vice-Regal Service, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: The Honourable Justice Peter Davis and Ms Jennifer Burness; The Honourable Justice Sue Brown and Ms Lisa Worner; The Honourable Justice Thomas Bradley and Dr Matthew Yoong; The Honourable Justice Shane Doyle and Mrs Margaret Doyle; The Honourable Justice Soraya Ryan; The Honourable Justice Glenn Martin AM and Mrs Robyn Martin; The Honourable Hugh Fraser KC and Mrs Margie Fraser; Ms Filly Morgan PSM; Ms Eve Fraser; Ms Sophie Walsh; and Ms Kristie Robinson.
