On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of A Bill for Assent for Community Protection and Public Child Sex Offender Register (Daniel’s Law) Bill 2025.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for Official Travel to the City of Gold Coast.

In the evening at Home of the Arts (HOTA), Surfers Paradise, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Queensland Ballet performance of ‘Elastic Hearts featuring the music of SIA’.

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo returned to Government House from Official Travel to the City of Gold Coast.
