On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM greeted members of The Community Transport Company visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

Following, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of Executive Council.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Dinner in support of Regional Mayors, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included Councillor Jack Bawden and Mrs Cathy Bawden; Councillor Ralph Kendall Jnr and Mrs Erin Kendall; Councillor Richard Sewter and Ms Helen Moon; Mr Scott Allen; Ms Freya Petersen; and Ms Sonya Wallis.
