On Wednesday, in the morning, at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Angus Australia World Angus Forum, and the Governor addressed guests. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the Aspley Trefoil Guild visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency received Associate Chaplain, Brisbane Boys College, Mr Thomas McPherson and Students in support of the Red Shield Appeal.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a dinner in honour of Queenslanders recognised in the 2025 Australia Day Honours List, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: The Reverend Gerda Olafsen AM and Reverend David Baker; Mr Daryl Scott AM and Mrs Debbie Scott; Warrant Officer Vanessa Schneider AM and Flight Lieutenant Lloyd Schneider; Mr David Mackie PSM and Ms Lily Licha; Mr Craig Mann APM and Mrs Katherine Mann; Mr Lloyd Clarke OAM and Mrs Suzanne Clarke OAM; Mrs Lisa Cox OAM and Mr Ramendra Bhashkar; Mrs Melissa McGuinness OAM and Mr Peter McGuinness; Ms Wendy Paterson OAM and Ms Annette Hoolihan; Ms Yolande Yorke; and Mr Scott Allen.
