On Monday, in the morning, at The University of Queensland, St Lucia, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the 2027 Queensland Rhodes Scholar shortlisting meeting.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for Official Travel to Western Downs Regional Council, Maranoa Regional Council and Shire of Murweh.

Following, at Chinchilla Hospital, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff and patients.

In the evening, at Chinchilla RSL, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received Mayor, Western Downs Regional Council, Councillor Andrew Smith and Councillors for a working dinner.
