On Saturday, in the morning, at Royal International Convention Centre, Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the 2026 Royal National Agricultural Show Agricultural Hall, Flower and Garden Precinct and Main Arena Cattle presentations, and the Governor addressed guests and presented awards.

In the evening, at Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills, the Governor, accompanied by Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD, officially opened the 150th Royal Queensland Show.
