On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, members of Regional Directorate Operations Training Area Management Queensland visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a reception for the Queensland State Emergency Service's 50th Anniversary, and the Governor addressed guests.
