On Monday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD returned to Queensland from Official Travel to Japan, and Her Excellency signed the Proclamation to resume duties as Governor of Queensland.

In the evening, at Tattersall’s Club, Brisbane City, Her Excellency attended the Kings' Birthday Celebratory Dinner for the Golden Anniversary of the Order of Australia, and the Governor addressed guests.
