On Saturday, in the morning, at the Australian-American War Memorial, Newstead Park, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM was represented by Honorary Aide-de-Camp Major Brook Hastie at the 84th Battle of the Coral Sea Commemoration Service, who delivered the Governor’s message laid the first wreath on her behalf.

Following, at St Joseph’s Church, Kangaroo Point, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD joined family and friends celebrating the life of the late Ms Yolande Yorke, former Official Secretary to the Office of the Governor.

Following, at Allies Memorial, New Farm, Her Excellency was represented by Honorary Aide-de-Camp Major Brook Hastie at the 81st Anniversary of the ‘Victory in Europe’, and Major Hastie laid the first wreath.
