On Wednesday, in the morning, at Main Street, Augathella, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD enjoyed a walking tour led by Mayor, Shire of Murweh, Councillor Shaun Radnedge and visited the ‘Smiley’ Mural.

Following, at Clermont Multipurpose Health Service, Augathella, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff and patients.

Following, at Augathella Town Hall, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a lunch with members of the community, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Main Street, Augathella, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo proceeded on a walking tour of ‘Augathella Experience’, visitors centre, War/ANZAC Memorial and Meat Ant sculpture.

Following, at Waroona Multipurpose Centre, Charleville, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the facility and met with staff and patients.

Following, at Charleville Hospital, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff and patients.

Following, at Charleville Town Hall, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended an afternoon tea with representatives from the emergency services, first-responders, youth council representatives and members of the community, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Warrego Yacht Club, Charleville, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received Mayor, Shire of Murweh, Councillor Shaun Radnedge and Councillors for working dinner.
