On Monday, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a reception in support of the 2026 Royal Queensland Show, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at The Star, Brisbane City, Her Excellency attended the Royal Queensland Art Society’s Queen’s Wharf Brisbane Art Prize Awards Night 2026, and the Governor presented awards and addressed guests.
