On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM signed a Message for a Bill.  

Following, at Parliament House, Brisbane City, Honorary Aide-de-Camp Commander Nick Cusack RAN, delivered a Message from the Governor to the Legislative Assembly regarding Royal Assent having been granted to a bill. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the afternoon, at Government House, via teleconference, Her Excellency presided over a special meeting of the Executive Council. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a reception in support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation’s key supporters, volunteers and partners, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Brisbane Chinese New Year Reception, and the Governor addressed guests.
