On Monday, in the morning, at Guide Dogs Queensland, Bald Hill Campus, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM toured the facility and met with staff and volunteers.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency received Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awardee, Master Timothy Rae and his family members Mrs Mandy Rae, Mr Malcom Rae and Master Theo Rae.  

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Reception in support of the 2025 Royal Queensland Show, and the Governor addressed guests.
