On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided over a meeting of the Executive Council. 

In the evening, at Suncorp Stadium, Milton, Her Excellency attended The Royal Military Tattoo as Patron of the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland, and the Governor addressed guests.
