On Wednesday, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted a Reception for RSPCA Queensland to celebrate the Centenary of the Animals Protection Act (1925), and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Queensland Theatre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Opera Queensland 2026 Season Launch, and the Governor addressed guests.
