On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted a ceremony for the presentation of The Royal Humane Society of Australasia’s Queensland Bravery Awards, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Mrs Catherine Martin AC, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency attended Yalari's 20th Anniversary Gala Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
