On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a morning tea in support of Meals on Wheels Queensland’s 70th Anniversary, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo departed Brisbane for Official Travel to Whitsunday Regional Council.

Following, at Proserpine Hospital, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff and volunteers. 

In the evening, at Whitsunday Sailing Club, Airlie Beach, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Airlie Beach Race Week Presentation Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
