On Saturday, in the afternoon, at Wacol Military Barracks, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the National Servicemen’s Annual General Meeting and laid the first wreath, the Governor unveiled a plaque and addressed guests.

In the evening, at Brisbane City Hall, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended The Daniel Morcombe Foundation's Dance for Daniel 2026, and the Governor addressed guests.
