On Monday, at Brisbane City Hall, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Funeral Service with full Police Honours for former Queensland Police Service Commissioner Mr Steve Gollschewski AO APM.

Following, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted an Investiture Ceremony for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours List and the August 2025 Wattle Day Bravery Honours List; Emeritus Professor Michael Stephen Roberts; Ms Debra Therese Camden; Senior Constable Karyn Louise Hart; Mr Justin Shane Francis; Mr Daren Mallouk; Mrs Sandra Leeann Osbourne (Gawn); Ms Vanessa Olympia Schafranek; Mrs Cindel Chere Richardson; Mr John Laurence Wallace; Mr John Sydenham Custance; Ms Christine Ann Fox; Ms Teresa Gayle Handicott; Mr Craig Robert Holden; Mr Colin James Schulz; Mr David John Shields; Mrs Lynette Gweneth Turner; Mrs Theano (Tina) Viney and Mr Craig Michael Williams.
