On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency, the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted students from Nambour Christian College visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Taste of Queensland Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: the Honourable Tony Perrett MP and Mrs Michele Perrett; Mr Justin McGowan and Mrs Trudy McGowan OAM; Mr Alex Baker and Ms Paula Phan; Mrs Karin Hampson; Mr Gerard Robb; Mr Ginn Lai; Mr Alexander Bell; Ms Nicole McNaughton; Ms Jacqui Price; Ms Clare Hamilton-Bate; Ms Lisa Sharp; Mr David Clark; Mr Daniel Takai and Mrs Rhonda Takai; Ms Yolande Yorke and Dr Ingrid Tall.
