On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received Mr Mark Rigby OAM and Mrs Renée Aland.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a luncheon for members of the Executive Council.

In the evening, at Customs House, Brisbane City, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the French Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry 2026 Bastille Day Gala, and the Governor addressed guests.
